Deacons

The leadership of Bridge of Don Baptist Church consists of Elders and Deacons, elected by the members of the church serve a 3-year term, who meet regulary with the Pastor to seek the Lord's leading in the affairs of the Church. Deacons are primarily responsible for caring for the organisational and temporal affairs of the church and chair the Church's Ministry Groups.

Sheena Bevan 

Along with her husband, John, Sheena has been actively involved in a number of Churches throughout the United Kingdom in a range of ministry areas. Sheena currently chairs the Social Action & Care Ministry Group and along with John helped establish, and currently leads, a Home Church Group serving the City & Deeside areas of Aberdeen. Sheena is an Epilepsy Specialist Nurse within NHS Grampian, covering Grampian, Orkney and Shetland.

David Logan (Church Secretary)
 

David Logan was brought up in a Christian home and made a commitment to God at an early age.  He started attending Bridge of Don Baptist Church in the summer of 2005 with his wife Katrina and daughters Ruth and Jenny.  David has worked in the Sunday School as a helper and Teacher before becoming involved with the Sunday Youth Group for teenagers.  He has also been involved with the leadership of both the Christianity Explored and Discipleship Explored courses with his wife and other members of the congregation.  In 2007 David became a Deacon and has recently become started working with the Hospitality Ministry Group.

BoB Montague
 

Bob first came to the Bridge of Don Baptist Church in 1983 when we were meeting in Glashieburn School. During this time he was involved with the Tuesday BODs and various choirs. He spent a few years at Crown Terrace and since his return has been involved with various aspects of church life. He currently chairs the Property Ministry Group and now that he is retired is helping with some of the maintenance work in the church building.
He is married to Beatrice , they have a daughter Elaine, son David and 4 grandchildren.

Frazer Ramsay
 

Originally from Edinburgh, Frazer first came to Bridge of Don Baptist Church as a student in 1991 and has been attending ever since. During his time at the Church he has served in a number of roles within the Childrens and Youth ministry areas in addition to serving as Church Secretary and Trustee of the Church for 3 terms of office. Frazer is married to Katherine, who is involved in the Social Action & Care ministry area, and they have 2 sons.

Andrew Sykes (Church Treasurer)
 

Andrew has been a member of the church since 1990.  During his time, Andrew has been involved in a number of roles including Assistant Secretary, Sunday School and Drama.  Andrew is currently the Church Treasurer & a Trustee of the Church.  Andrew is married to Elaine and they have two daughters.

Steven Thomson
 

Steven works for Grampian Fire and Rescue Service where he enjoys a variety of planning and service development responsibilities, he began attending Bridge of Don Baptist Church as a teenager when he attended the youth fellowship.  He went on mission placement to Jamaica with the Baptist Missionary Society 28:19 action team in 1996 returning in 1997.  Married to Arlene and with three lively children they continue to be involved in many differing areas of church life including, technical team, home church group, and children’s outreach. Steven currently chairs the Mission Ministry Group

Paul Walber
 

Paul started attending Bridge of Don Baptist Church in January 2006, along with his wife Audrey and their daughter Erica. During 2006 Paul attended Christianity Explored and a Discipleship course and was Baptised in 2007. Later that year he became involved with the Sunday Youth Group. In 2008  Paul, Audrey and Erica were joined by their new daughter Katie.
