elders
The leadership of Bridge of Don Baptist Church consists of Elders and Deacons, elected by the members of the church serve a 3-year term, who meet regulary with the Pastor to seek the Lord's leading in the affairs of the Church. Elders are primarily responsible for the public worship services, pastoral and teaching ministry, and the spiritual welfare of the church.
John Cow
John works in the car industry in Aberdeen and has served in church leadership for many years in various areas of church life, youth leader, home church leader, Deacon and currently Elder. John along with Jarod our Pastor co leads the Outreach Ministry Group. He is married to Barbara and they have 3 sons.
Bill Haining
During his time in the Church Bill has served as a Deacon, Church Secretary and Elder). His involvement in the fellowship has been wide and varied including, chairing the Children and Youthwork group and singing on a Sunday morning. Bill also chairs the Worship Ministry Group. He is married to Margaret.
Douglas Taylor
Douglas currently serves as a Home Church Group Leader and on Children’s Ministry Group as well as having been a Deacon for several years prior to his service as an Elder. He is also one of the Church’s Child Protection signatories. During his time in the fellowship he has been involved in the Youth Fellowship and a number of the children’s ministries. He is married to Fiona.
