Bridge of don baptist church

young persons worker

Carolyn McCrone

Even though Caz was born in Glasgow, she grew up in Derby in the East Midlands. In 2004, Caz moved to Aberdeen to attend the University of Aberdeen. Whilst at university, she was involved in the youth work at BoDBC and during her final year sensed God leading her into youth ministry. In 2008, Caz graduated with a degree in Economics and Management and soon after took up the role of Young Persons Worker at BoDBC.

September 2009 saw Caz beginning the Youth Work and Applied Theology degree at International Christian College in Glasgow which she currently attends part time. This is an exciting part of the work God is doing through Caz in her ministry.

Caz’s heart is both to reach the lost with the amazing truth that is the love of God and also to help the children of God to grow in their relationship with Him. She believes that as we are ALL created in the image of God, each one of us is created for relationship and as such sees this as a vital part of our ministry with children and young people. God loves each of us in a way that is greater than we can imagine and He calls us to model this unconditional love to our communities.

“For great is your love, reaching to the heavens, your faithfulness reaches to the skies.” (Psalm 57:10)
