Aberdeen is home to tens of thousands of students, each at
varying stages in their educational and life development.
Although we're not in close proximity to campus, over the
years we have experienced a close relationship with the
city's student body with a number making Bridge of Don
their spiritual home for their time of study. A number
of our members are part of the academic and administrative
staff at the city's Universities and as such provide a
valuable link to students seeking to bridge their church
life and their studies.
At Bridge
of Don we're seeking to be a place where students, regardless
of their age or nationality, can experience a home-from-home
and where they can get support and encouragement to live
their life as Christ intended. Many get involved within the
wide spectrum of activities run by the church while others
are happy just to be a more passive part of the fellowship.
The warm, supportive welcome we extend to the student members of the city's community is reflected in seeing some feeling such a connection to the church that they take on joint membership between Bridge of Don and their home church for their time in the city.
